Other Influences...

Despite the fact that I'm primarily into Japanese garden design, I realized that I've acquired quite a bit of native Australian plants as well. I don't know what it is, but I'm always attracted to Tea Trees (especially dwarf versions), Grevillea, Peppermint Willow (purple) and the tall, slender Eucalyptus Citriodora Trees (Lemon Scented Gum). It's worked out in my favor though as they go ever-so-well with Japanese shrubs and trees and are mostly all drought tolerant for southern California. (PICS TO FOLLOW)
